DENMARK ROCK FESTIVAL is a concept that took place in the minds of some Danish music lovers a few years ago - we've all seen the tremendous success of such festivals as Sweden Rock Festival, Wacken Open Air and many more, and we couldn't happen not to wonder why we didn't have a festival 100% dedicated to the hard rock spectre of rock music of our own here in Denmark? Well, time went by and we finally decided it was time to do this, whilst seeing other great new festivals appear, such as Copenhell. We do not view those as competition, but rather as another great option for the hard rock and metal loving Danish audience to get their "fix". After all, this country should be big enough to have more than just one hard rock/metal dedicated festival, right? We're starting out with a first in-door festival, but our plans are big and mighty, and we're hoping within a few years to take this festival outdoor. It all depends on how YOU embrace our idea. 
Denmark Rock Festival will take place on Friday October 7, 2011 and Saturday October 8, 2011 at THE ROCK, the premiere music venue in Copenhagen - the beautiful capitol of Denmark. The Rock holds 650 people and is equipped with top of the line sound equipment as well as some of the best technicians and sound crew in all of Denmark to guarantee you a great weekend of loud, yet audibly pleasant, music!
